Respite care in Sheffield

Dementia Care Home

Your new life starts here

Caring for someone full-time is a huge responsibility that can be all-consuming. Whether you need to take a break for work, rest or play, we can provide loving respite care for your loved one, in safe and comfortable surroundings.

The role of respite care

For people in a caring role, respite care offers time to rest and recuperate, or make time for work and family. You could take care of other responsibilities, take a few days to yourself, go on holiday, or even take a few months to refresh and revive yourself. We can help shoulder the responsibility so that you can take the time you need; knowing that your loved one is safe and looked after.

Take a well earned break and let us look after your loved one

Respite: A break for everyone

While you take care of your own needs, your loved one will also benefit from a change of scenery, a host of activities and a chance to make friends. Those coming to Norwood Grange for respite care benefit from all of the care and support we offer our long-term residents, with friendly and professional carers taking care of their every need.

Your loved one will have their own well-appointed room, which can be personalised with pictures, books, ornaments and blankets to help them to feel at home.

A chance to socialise with others

We have daily activities which your loved one is welcome to join in with. If they prefer quiet time, there are plenty of spaces for them to indulge. Many of our residents who do not get involved in all activities still enjoy watching their friends do so. There is a real family feel, and just being around others can provide well-needed company, even for those who aren’t so active.

Our highly trained carers are on hand around the clock, to help in any way or just to have a friendly chat. So you can rest easy in the knowledge that your loved one is receiving the very best of care and attention.
